We have a ground floor, accessible bathroom. All our bathrooms are gender neutral. There is an echo in the church which can effect hearing aids. We have accessible parking on site and ramp access to the centre. .

Casper (12A)
Thursday 31st October, 4pm
46 minutes with English subtitles

Join us for a family friendly spooky screening at Craigmillar Now! With stories from Craigmillar’s official storyteller Heather Henderson.

"Furious that her late father only willed her his gloomy-looking mansion rather than his millions, Carrigan Crittenden is ready to burn the place to the ground when she discovers a map to a treasure hidden in the house. But when she enters the rickety mansion to seek her claim, she is frightened away by a wicked wave of ghosts. Determined to get her hands on this hidden fortune, she hires afterlife therapist Dr. James Harvey to exorcise the ghosts from the mansion. Harvey and his daughter Kat move in, and soon Kat meets Casper, the ghost of a young boy who's "the friendliest ghost you know." But not so friendly are Casper's uncles-Stretch, Fatso and Stinkie, who are determined to drive all "fleshies" away. Ultimately, it is up to Harvey and Kat to help the ghosts cross over to the other side.

The Local Cinema film programme has been funded by the City of Edinburgh Council via the Creative Community Hubs Network, which brings together eight building-based hubs who are engaging with their local communities in creative ways across Edinburgh. This is the first shared creative programme produced by the hubs network to date, in a pilot project entitled the Community Cinema Hubs Project that is hoped will be extended more widely across Edinburgh into the future.

Please contact screening venues directly for more information and to reserve tickets for all other individual screenings.
